Bob D'Elia
Roberto d'Elia was born in Molfetta on 6/10/76. He graduated with honors in Foreign languages at the 'university of Bari, choosing as material for his thesis a parallel between jazz music and English literature. Four years later he graduated in jazz music with honors, at the Conservatory Niccolò Piccinni of Bari. Over the years he shared the stage with some of the best Italian artists such as Afterhours, Africa Unite, Roy Paci, Marlene Kuntz, CCCP, Caparezza and many others.
With the band Patient Zero, he publics in 2009 l 'album "Link", distributed by Venus. He also published two volumes. "The history and evolution of jazz guitar, from its origins to today" and "A key to the jazz by Miles Davis" The pressman editions. He has taken courses with musicians such as Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Maurizio Colonna, Tomaso blade, Remo Vinciguerra. With the solo project of Rob Elia plays hendrix part in festivals such as Night Blue Guitar Festival of international music and art franca Doc. during which he shares the stage with Quintorigo. He is currently the guitarist for the band from Bari Camillorè, which has 3 albums to 'active published and distributed by Universal, Materials and Otrlive music, over 25 awards (Award for Medimex Xl Republic, Festival Pub Italy), hundreds of concerts all over Italy on prestigious stages such as the May Day in Rome in piazza s. John, the 'Water in the head along with Gogol Bordello, jazz festival in Bari, Giovinazzo Rock festival and the Palalottomatica. He teaches modern guitar for over 15 years and holds the school's Guitar Club located in Bisceglie.
