The Richwood Master Series open back banjo is particularly suited for the more mellow folk style of clawhammer playing. Because of the open back, the sound is softer than that of a traditional banjo with a resonator. As with all Master Series banjos the RMB-405 is a very stable instrument with 24 brackets, quality wood and parts, ensuring a lifetime of musical pleasure.
